Balochistan the province of hope, the province of nature, the province of resources, before the independence of Pakistan Balochistan existed on the world map. The chief commissioner of Balochistan immediately became part of Pakistan followed by the princely states of Makran, Kharan, Lasbela and the Khan of Kalat. They decided to accede to Pakistan in March 1948.
Balochistan is known as one of the fourth province of Pakistan and largest province by land area. The provincial capital city is Quetta, The name of Balochistan mean “the Land of Baloch” Balochistan is noted for its unique culture. The Government of Balochistan, it’s common as the other provinces of Pakistan it has a parliamentary form of Government.
The above is the beauty and the reality of Balochistan. Let’s talk about Balochistan’s politics, which is being played like a game. After the general elections, when the National Party and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Balochistan were elected with the majority. Here comes Bhurban accord, it is also known as Muree declaration the agreement which was signed by two political powers, two political parties the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and PML-N.
The agreement was signed by Nawaz Sharif and also the Co-chairman of PPP Asif Ali Zardari on 8th March 2008 in PC Bhurban Punjab province. The same as Muree agreement was signed by the to political parties National party and PML-N in June 2013 to govern on Balochistan for 5 years. The same as Muree agreement was signed by National party and PML-N in June 2013 together and Balochistan for 5 years term. The general election of 2013, cause of coalition NP and PML-N were elected by the people and they got a chance to govern Balochistan.
Prime Minister’s National Security advisor Lt. General Nasir Khan Janjua advised Mr. Nawaz Sharif to let Dr Abdul Malik Baloch continue as Chief Minister of Balochistan for the entire time. So the party was on power and the legislatures wanted to implement the mute agreement and see their party’s Balochistan PML-N President Sardar Sanaullah Zehri replace Dr. Malik and govern as CM of Balochistan. That is called a political game. Dr. Malik governed as CM from 7th June 2013 till 10th December’s 2015. As per the Muree agreement the both parties were going to have their Cm’s. After him Sanaulla Zehri became the Chief minister of Balochistan and governed from 24 December 2015 till he was forced to resign from the Chief ministership and he finally resigned the main cause of force him to resign was to repeat the history as before 20years Sardar Akhtar Mengal was Chief Minister the same non confidence motion moved to struggle, let past beat the bushes. So the oppositions former ministers, and MPA’s who revolted against CM Zehri.
The Legend Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizanjo Leader from district Awaran (PML-Q) and the main character that played the best role in submitting the no confidence motion against Sanaullah Zehri, with the support of PML-N dissidents and PML-Q. Bizanjo submitted his nomination paper for chief minister ship of Balochistan. The game changed and the voice raised that a how a person with 544 votes in general elections, the weakest candidate can be a chief minister, On 13 January 2018 Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizanjo elected as the 16th Chief Minister of Balochistan, Securing 41 votes out of 65 votes in the Assembly. He became the 3rd CM of a 5 years term government. Now the forth is going to come as they are called caretaker. Everyone is in the race to win the seats not the public. Let’s observe what Bizanjo will be serving for the Public of Baluchistan. (To be continued)
