Transporter strike in Karachi will adversely influence mango export which is going to be started soon. However, the ongoing strike will create problems for mango growers and exporters.
Annually, Pakistan exports mango approximately $70 million, mostly export to foreign countries about 70%. Hence, Afghanistan border band will automatically affect its exports.
Therefore, Sindh government will have to take immediate action to solve goods transporters problem though not put any influences on mangos export.
