No apathy would be tolerated in the establishment of new colleges: Chief Minister Balochistan

QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch has said that no apathy would be tolerated in the establishment of new colleges and the land dispute of Khuzdar and Loralai colleges would be resolved within a month.

He said this talking to a convention of principals of Medical Colleges on Wednesday. Provincial Minister for Health Rehmat Saleh Baloch, Secretary Health, Additional Chief Secretary (Development), Secretary Finance and Principal BMC were also present during the convention, among others.

Chief Minister directed the Finance Ministry to resolve the issues of the colleges on war-footings. Chief Minister directed issuance of 50 million each for all three colleges and directed the authorities to evacuate the hostels of the outsiders as hostels are only for the students and they should be allowed to reside in.

Chief Minister said that new vacancies should be created for the new medical colleges and asked the health minister to present a progress report on monthly basis regarding the establishment of the colleges.

Chief Minister also directed the Revenue Department and Commissioner Zhob to solve all the issues at the earliest regarding the Lorali College land.

Meanwhile, chairing a high level meeting on security, Chief Minister said that all resources would be brought in use for the release of Judicial Magistrate Ziarat Jam Saka Dashti and Irfan Weerani of Agha Laboratory.

Chief Minister also asked about the progress details for the recovery of kidnapees and directed the authorities concerned to bring the kidnappers to the justice.
