Truck hits marchers of Long March, two injured

Quetta: At least two participants injured when a truck hit marchers of the long march at Renala Khurd area between Radha and Okara on Saturday.

According to the details participants of the long march for  the safe release of Baloch missing persons was on its way   at Renala Khurd area of Punjab province when a  truck hit marchers of the long march injuring at least two male participants Shahshan Baloch and Irfan Ali of Communist Mazdoor Kisan Party – CMKP.

Despite presence of police the  attackers fled from scene

The vice chairman of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons-VBMP, Mama Qadeer said, “A truck hit me and the people participating in the march, which injured two of our members.”

Baloch said that it was an attempt to crush him and other participants. However, a

Police officer  guarding long march participants named the accident a truck brake failure.

The long march leaders link the accident with death threats to VBMP marchers, who have been receiving since they started long march from Quetta. According to the VBMP’s leaders this was the third attempt to hit them; they allege secret state agencies for threats and attacks.
