KHUZDAR: The Vice Chancellor, Balochistan University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar, Prof. Brig (R) Engr. Muhammad Amin, SI (M) visited to several hostels and inspected the ongoing repair work on 19th September, 2017. He, along with Director Administration, Provost, Senior Engineer and Hostel Wardens, visited boys’ hostels.
During his visit, the VC visited hostel rooms, canteens, dining halls, kitchens and toilets of various blocks. He instructed the department concerned to improve cleanliness in hostels, including in kitchens and dining halls. He also interacted with students and assured them that the services in the hostels would be improved.
On the demand of students, VC immediately instructed the department concerned to repair the damage doors and windows of rooms and proper maintenance of lawns, repair, and whitewash as well as replacement of damaged furniture and also instructed the engineering section to expedite the repair work without compromising on the quality of work.
Before this visit, the Vice Chancellor also hold a meeting with concerned officials of hostel management and engineering wing and directed them to complete repair and whitewash within stipulated time. He also advised the Director Administration to work with engineering wing for beautification of front areas of the Hostel buildings.
