Balochistan, the biggest province of Pakistan does not have a proper educational system It is painful to mention that for higher education; students have to go out the province or country but not everyone affords to do so. As a result, many our youth have to drop out before completing their education.
Moreover, the condition of governmental schools of Balochistan is appalling; most schools lack basic facilities. We already do not have the number of teachers that can meet the needs of our schools and a huge number of teachers amongst them are absent, yet they receive their monthly salary. Constitution of Pakistan illustrates “Right to education” in Article 25A and says “The State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to sixteen years in such manner as may be determined by law.”
I request the government and concerned authorities to take prompt action to resolve issues related to our education system.
