Letter: Honour killing in Pakistan

Pakistan is the first Muslim country to own atomic power but unfortunately like so many other issues, Pakistan yet has to counter the issue of honour killing. Four people in Bolan district were killed with the case of honour killing. The FIR for this case was registered against unidentified people. The police investigation has been in process but without seriousness.

Although the Government recently passed a bill against honor killing but making the law hasn’t yet been implemented in most part of the country including Balochistan.

I request the government of Balochistan to take necessary action against anyone involved in cases of honor killing.
