Letter: Government Teachers Ought to Serve Nation

Teachers are the back bone of a nation. They are the ones who develop   or build up an educated nation. According to a great personality “Teacher is the one who creates other all profession”. No doubt teachers are also parents of students.

Unfortunately, among the government teachers there are some teachers who are not performing their duties honestly. Students are tomorrow’s teachers, journalists, engineers, doctors, lawyers etc; however, Students at government school are suffering because of such teachers, who are now building a very dark future of our upcoming generation.

When a teacher is not punctual, he remains unable to complete the planned course in a given schedule and mostly students are compelled to cheat in the examination hall. Despite lots of complaints to Principals against such teachers but in reality the administration seems powerless.  Since those are patronized by the political figures.

In Makran area of Balochista, some students complain that there are some teachers who   also teach in private sectors. They always come late or remain absent from school even    there is no reaction against them by administrator. They do not teach sincerely with their best efforts as compared to private schools. No doubt, they give more time to private schools rather than government school.

The government teachers ought to serve nation as well as the Chief Minister of Balochistan and   Secretary Education department are requested to take a prompt action against this critical issue and save  future of students.
