Letter: Water issue in Gwadar

It is said that Ankara Kaur dam which is the greatest source of water for people in Gwader, has reached at the dead level now . Accordingly, many areas of Gwader have been facing water shortage. The citizens are compelled to buy water from tankers mafia at the cost of RS 7500.

Poor people do not afford this amount for one of the most important element of life. It has become a great problem in the city and concerned authorities are avoiding taking serious steps concerning the miserable condition of the people.

The C.M of Baluchistan Nawab Sanaullah Zahri is requested to order the responsible authorities towards the water issue of Gwader.
