Turbat: No Electricity In Atta Shad Degree College For 7 Last Days

Turbat – Electricity supply to entire Atta Shad Degree College in Turbat has been suspended for last seven days, learnt The Balochistan Point.

Atta Shad Degree College is the only degree college in Kech district where more than 3,000 students are enrolled.

Staff colony situated adjacent to the college is also without electricity for last seven days.

“Main electricity transformer of the college developed a fault which has not been resolved yet,” a staff member of college told The Balochistan Point.

“We are immensely suffering in extremely hot water due to unavailability of electricity,” lamented residents of staff colony of Atta Shad Degree College.

Another staff member and resident of staff colony told The Balochistan Point, “A nation is identified by the way it treats its teachers and we are being treated with seven days of non-supply of electricity.”

Residents of Staff colony have demanded form chief Minister, Dr. Malik Baloch, to take notice of this issue.

Previously electricity supply remained suspended in entire Makran division for several days.
