According to Pakistan’s demographic and health surrey 2012-13 around of 45 of children show evidence of chronic malnutrition. Above all, Punjab and Balochistan have extremely high level of child mortality.

There are major causes to this critical issue which are lack of access to health and sanitation service and so on. Even though, diseases like diarrhea, malaria, pneumonia are the reasons of high mortality rate. Children deserve a healthy life. Therefore the government is requested to pay heed towards the health of children and curb child mortality.
