Letter: Hepatitis in Pakistan

Hepatitis is now on raise in Pakistan and it is causing deaths. More than 20 million people have been the victim of hepatitis B and approximately 15 million people have been the victim of hepatitis C. Nearly 500000 people would die annually such as over 400 people are losing their lives every day. More than 5 million people need urgent liver transplantation but most of the affected victims belong to the poor families. It is need of time authorities in Pakistan have to provide more health facilities which can be affordable for every individual.
