Balochistan is the most illiterate province of Pakistan. Most of the people here are enrolled in laboring activities rather than planning for their future with an educational degree. Baloch people are blamed for giving no partiality to education but no one has ever tried to know the causes of the backwardness of Balochistan.
Student who pass metric with the high grades in their areas, are not aware of Science and Arts, a student who wants to be a doctor and takes admission in Arts. These are some examples which show lack of career counseling in Balochistan.
The students are not advised by any governmental official, subject specialists, and professionals about the careers and subject selection. We are told to get education, we are shown dreams and we have quitted our everything in just accomplishing our dreams and visions but we are not told how to achieve our destinations.
There is great need of initiating career counseling sessions for students. If advisory sessions are conducted for students at schools and colleges so it will be great source of motivation and support.
