Letter: Problems of Hub city

Hub, Balochistan is the part of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project and it shares border with Karachi, the capital city of Sindh province. However, it mirrors a miserable condition. Population of more than a quarter of a million is lacking several problems such as traffic, sewerage and cleanliness etc. There is not any traffic plan to control the traffic flow. Around hours’ traffic is jammed on daily basis. Apart from one or two roundabouts, traffic police is not found.

Every street of Hub is full of drainage water, even one cannot walk in streets easily. This is the evidence that Municipal Committee is completely fail to do its job for the citizens’ comfort. Roads and streets are broken badly, that becomes the main cause of accidents. There is no development work from many years. No cleanliness campaign is in process to give satisfactory consequences to the citizens of Hub.

It’s my humble request to the concerned authorities to take some serious measurements to minimize all such issues and give people a kind of relaxation.

Zohaib Ahmed, Hub.
